Helios Solar was founded by a father and son in 2009 with one goal in mind - to bring affordable renewable energy to Kalamazoo and the rest of West Michigan. Now, with 100's of installations done by our owner operated crew, we have established ourselves as one of the best solar installers in Michigan.
There has never been a better time to invest in the future of your business with solar technology. Businesses face enough uncertainty and shouldn't have to worry about future increases in the cost of energy. In addition to demonstrating your commitment to environmental responsibility, a solar installation will allow your business to lock in a low cost of electricity for many years to come.
Let Helios Solar work with your business to develop an on-site energy generation plan to meet your needs for current and future energy consumption.
A home solar installation is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint and secure access to low cost electricity. Advances in micro-inverter technology have allowed home solar installations to become more simple and cost effective than ever. Contact us today to learn how quick, easy, and economical it can be to add a solar installation to your home.

What kind of maintenance is involved with solar?
Very little, actually. We recommend performing periodic inspections to look for physical damage, as well as checking the monitoring to ensure the system is producing properly.
How much does monitoring cost?
All of the systems we install come with an online system performance monitoring platform for FREE.
How long does it take to install a system?
While this answer depends widely on a number of variables, many systems can be built in 1-2 days.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We work with a non-profit called Michigan Saves that offers credit score based loans through local Credit Unions. Learn more by clicking here.
